G.I. (Galvanized Iron) gate valve is a shut-off valve that uses a wedge-shaped gate to stop or allow fluid flow in a pipeline, ideal for fully open or fully closed applications. Made from Galvanized Iron, it's used for isolating sections of pipe for maintenance or repair by lifting the gate with a handwheel, allowing for unobstructed, low-pressure-drop flow when open.
