Stainless hasp lock is a two-piece device, a hasp and a staple, made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that secures and locks a door, gate, or cabinet with a padlock. The hasp (the hinged part) has a slotted eye that passes through a staple (the fixed part), and when a padlock is inserted through the slots, it prevents the staple from being separated from the hasp, thus securing the door or opening.
